Cesium compounds provide wide-ranging benefits to a variety of catalysts. They are used extensively in catalysts for sulfuric acid production, where cesium increases production and reduces SO2emissions. In methyl methacrylate (MMA) catalysts, cesium increases production and extends catalyst life.
