Network Administrator

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to oversee the maintenance and optimization of our network systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in network management, strong attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues. If you’re passionate about technology and eager to contribute to a dynamic industry, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Performing diagnostics of network issues, provide end-user support and resolve network-related inquiries.
Design, implement, and maintain network configurations, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Install, configure, and manage network hardware and software.
Maintain network security, including firewall and intrusion detection systems.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and processes.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and technologies.
Other duties as may be locally assigned.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of networking protocols, topologies and security principles.
Proficiency in network administration tools and technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network +) are a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Desktop Administration, Active Directory and Cisco Phone System.

Education/Experience

Bachelors degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1-2 years proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
Mining experience highly desirable.
